Our Approach You could say that the “Philosophy” or “Vision” is as simple as there is an area of business operations that needs an additional outlet other than happenstance to better the negative affect it has on the overall business. That is seen as old, new, as yet unsold parts from both OEM and aftermarket.

What’s unique about the process OldPartsNetWeb is attempting is that we’re designing the steps for the “list, search, procure and pay” process to be as seamless as possible. As far as we’re aware, there is no other service attempting to do this but with the slight exception of what some POS systems and data managing software will do by searching other dealers inventory. Harley’s TALON is pretty good at it, and Lightspeed has a search feature that seems to work pretty well however 1. Are these any reason not to take additional course of action? and 2. Is it enough? There are still steps in between that need to be addressed.

Our Story

Every business has a beginning, and here is a brief story of ours. The idea of Old PartsNetWeb came as an idea almost 10 years ago. On the heels of another similar business model that came to fruition but for whatever reason wasn’t long term successful. Whatever the downfall we want to try to make it simpler and also in the good nature of “keeping it in the family” we want to deal with and provide access to our services only to those outdoor power dealers and powersports business’ that make up nearly all of the experience amassed in the past 30 years. This is why we have chosen a membership style entrance, much like the major parts and equipment distributors of both industries do. Talk about business roots. . .people wanna know you have some, and we got em!

For the moment, the “Team” consists of me. . just me. However, I have to give credit to a group of individuals who have offered support, ideas and in general have encouraged the development of OldPartsNetWeb. Without their help the idea pool may have been pretty dry!

Hobbies are off road bicycling, motorcycling, dual sport motorcycling riding extreme hiking, cooking and home remodeling. I am the club president of Tennessee off Road Riders Association which I established in 1989.
